தமிழகத்தில் இன்று (23மார்ச்)முதல் பிளாஸ்டிக் பயன்படுத்தினால் அபராதம் விதிக்கப்படும் என்ற விதிமுறை அமலுக்கு வந்தது. தமிழகம் முழுவதும் கடந்த ஜனவரி 1 ஆம் தேதி முதல் பிளாஸ்டிக் பொருட்களை பயன்படுத்துவதற்கும் விற்பதற்கும் அரசு தடை விதித்தது.  

                        இந்த பிளாஸ்டிக் தடை விவகாரத்தை வியாபாரிகளும் பொதுமக்களும் சிறிது நாட்கள் மட்டுமே கடை பிடித்தனர்.கொஞ்ச நாட்கள் கழித்து மீண்டும் பிளாஸ்டிக் பயன்பாடு தலைத்தூக்கத் தொடங்கியது.  

                     தடையை மீறி பிளாஸ்டிக் பொருட்கள் விற்பதாக புகார் எழுந்தது. இதனால் இன்று முதல் பிளாஸ்டிக்கை விற்பனை செய்வோர் மற்றும் பயன்படுத்துவோரிடம் அபராதம் வசூலிக்கப்படும் என்ற விதிமுறை இன்று முதல் அமலுக்கு வந்தது.

                   இதற்காக சென்னை உள்ளிட்ட பெருநகரங்களில் சிறப்புக் குழுக்கள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதன்படி, பிளாஸ்டிக் பொருட்களை உற்பத்தி செய்பவர்கள், விற்பனை செய்பவர்கள், சேமித்து வைப்பவர்கள், வணிக ரீதியாக பயன்படுத்தும் பெரிய கடைக்காரர்கள், சிறிய கடைக்காரர்கள், பொதுமக்கள் என ஆறு பிரிவுகளாக பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

                  முதல் முறை பிடிப்பட்டால் ரூ25 ஆயிரமும், இரண்டாவது முறை பிடிப்பட்டால் ரூபாய் ஐம்பதாயிரமும், மூன்றாவது முறை சிக்கினால் ரூ. 1 லட்ச ரூபாயும் அபராதமாக விதிக்கப்பட உள்ளது. நான்காவது முறையாக பிடிபட்டால், விற்பவரின் கடை உரிமம் ரத்து செய்யப்படும் எனவும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

                 பொதுமக்களை பொருத்தமட்டில், அதிகாரிகள் வீடுகளில் சோதனை செய்யும்போது பிளாஸ்டிக் பொருட்களை வைத்து இருப்பது கண்டறியப்பட்டால் ரூ.500 அபராதம் விதிக்கப்படும். தொடர்ந்து அவர்கள் பிளாஸ்டிக் பொருட்களை சேமித்து வைத்தால் ரூ.1,000 வரை அபராதம் விதிக்கப்படும் என்று தகவல் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

நெகிழியை தவிர்க்க….

                            தமிழ்நாடு அரசு நெகிழியை தவிர்க்க பல விதமான திட்டங்களை போட்டு நடைமுறை படுத்தி வருகிறது. நாளைய சமுதாயத்துக்கு நம்மால்  முடிந்த அளவுக்கு நல்ல ஒரு இயற்கை பூமியை தர வேண்டியது நமது கடமை.மீளமுடியாத இந்த கவர்ச்சியையும் நாகரீகத்தையும்கொண்டு நெகிழி நம்மை கவர்ந்துள்ளது.

The tons of plastic disturbing the ecosystem in the ocean is just an alarming factor. The weight of our plastic negligence is almost 269,000 tons, which is ridiculous.

Harm with Microplastics: As the days pass by, the plastics get degraded into pieces even though not entirely biodegradable. However, this microplastic is going to harm the fish and the entire marine system and the following food chain. It is a sad fact that almost all the ocean samples have traces of the microplastics.

5.    Take Away Containers: with the increase in the food orders swiggy, food panda; these take away containers are increasing. Try cooking and eating in the house, which saves money and protects your health as well. Take steel containers with you, if you are going to get the parcel.

The plastic party cups, cutlery is the other most used plastic items. Try to use the wooden options, or the best part is carrying one pair with you to avoid wasting our valuable resources. Even though we are paying for them, we also have the responsibility to safeguard the resources for the next generation.
